The Classes:
The SUMMER Advanced Session is a combined Suzuki and Viewpoints class (single classes will not be offered this session). This session will be led by company member Kelly Maurer.
Applicants must have previous SITI training experience to be considered.
Easy 3-Step Application Process:
1) MATERIALS. Please follow these instructions to submit your application materials.
- Prepare an email addressed to training@siti.org with the subject line:
“Application: SUMMER ADV 2011 Training ”.
- In the body of the email, write a one-paragraph statement describing your previous training experience, including the past SITI sessions in which you have participated (example: “Fall 2006”, or “Saratoga 2007”). As a returning student, briefly tell us what you’d like to work on this session. Be sure to also include your name, telephone and email address contact information in the body of the email.
- Attach your headshot or photo (in jpeg or pdf format)
- Attach your resume (in word or pdf format)
2) PAYMENT. Choose one of the following payment options:
- Pay the full tuition now (Special Offer: Pay the FULL tuition by July 24 to receive a $25 discount off the regular price!)
- Pay the non-refundable deposit of $100 now (then pay the remaining balance on or before August 22)
- Subscribe to the convenient payment plan, spread out over 3 bi-weekly installments (that’s $125 every 2 weeks. Payment Plan must be initiated no later than July 22, and is only available online).
Payment or Deposit must be received by the July 31 deadline in order to ensure that your application will be reviewed.
3) SUBMISSION. Submit payment through PayPal's secure servers (you do NOT need a PayPal account). PayPal accepts all major credit cards and online checks. Your application materials will not be reviewed until payment is received.

Who Should Apply? Application to the SUMMER Advanced session is open only to those with previous SITI experience.
Class Etiquette: We believe in the centrality of the ensemble in our methods. The rigorous vocal and physical training, as well as the shared journey and group dynamic are vital to the success of every session. To that end, we urge all students to respect their instructors’ and fellow students’ time, come to classes prepared, on time and be ready to fully participate.
Training Dates: August 22 - September 2, 2011. Weekdays, Monday – Friday
Application Deadline: Sunday, July 31
Early Payment Discount Deadline: Sunday, July 24
Acceptance Notification**: Friday, August 5, by email.
(**Please note: International applicants may request early acceptance notification, in order to allow time for visa and travel arrangements; please note your request in the application email)
Payment/ Refund Information:
After your application is processed and accepted, you will have an opportunity to pay the balance online or in-person on or before the first class by check or credit card. If you do not pay your tuition balance in advance, it will be due on the first day of classes, Monday, August 22. We accept credit cards, personal checks, traveler’s checks, or money orders. No cash, please.
The staff and faculty review all applications, and participation is by invitation only (not first-come, first served). If you are NOT selected, your deposit will be refunded in full. If you ARE selected to participate, but then withdraw, your deposit is non-refundable. A $10 fee will apply to any returned check.
