J. Ed Araiza

• Natasha and Pierre and the great Comet (Directing) at UCLA next winter, the original production was conceived and directed by SITI alum Rachel Chavkin
• In December 2025 J. Ed is directing a Chamber Opera in San Diego composed by Anthony Davis, who’s Pulitzer Prize winning Opera  The Central Park Five . J. Ed also directed the 2022 production at the Long Beach Opera.

The heroic journey and challenges that Russian families opposed to Putin’s war on Ukraine face here in New York, as they each await their asylum verdict. This ongoing project will culminate with a presentation on June 6^th. Space Bridge has created community and a safety zone for these children to process, connect, and Create as they adapt to sudden life in a New York City shelter as  refugees.
