SITI Company is an ensemble-based theater company whose three ongoing components are the creation of new works for the stage, the training of theater artists, and a commitment to artistic international exchange.  Founded by Anne Bogart and Tadashi Suzuki, SITI Company recently celebrated its 20th anniversary.  Following a comprehensive and transformative strategic planning process SITI Company is in an exciting period of growth that is reflected in its increased presence and partnerships in New York City, its newly launched SITI Conservatory, its vigorous touring schedule, and its commitment to forge cross-disciplinary creative relationships. Today SITI Company is a $1.2 million, financially stable organization with an active and growing Board of Directors, a professional staff of four, and an established Ensemble of acclaimed and accomplished artists who have been creating theater together for over two decades.

SITI Company Launches Management Incubator 

SITI Company is pleased to announce the launch of a new program aimed at offering training and employment for the next generation of theatrical producers and managers: SITI’s Management Incubator. This program seeks dynamic creative entrepreneurs of color and offers individualized mentorship, on the job training, and networking opportunities.  Ideal candidates are those looking to augment their own creative practice and projects while simultaneously gaining a foothold in the New York City performing arts industry and becoming immersed in the life of a vibrant 25-year old theatrical ensemble.

All positions listed below are part-time and are paid. SITI is looking for candidates who are looking to build skills in any and all areas of theatrical management, such as fundraising, marketing, general management, tour planning and logistics. SITI will collaborate with selected candidates to develop goals and responsibilities that reflect the needs of both SITI and participants in the Management Incubator.

SITI Executive Director, Michelle Preston, and Managing Director of New Georges, Jaynie Saunders Tiller, are passionate about cultivating and supporting an inclusive and diverse cohort of future leaders in the performing arts. This program came out of their joint efforts and commitment to creating space and garnering ongoing support for programs such as this one. These positions are supported in 2018 by the New York State Regional Economic Development Council (REDC).
