Death and the Ploughman in LA and Holland After a couple of years on the shelf, Death and the Ploughman returns to touring all over the world. A hauntingly beautiful play written in Germany in 1401 that tells the story of a man who loses his beloved wife in her prime and demands some answers for his ensuing pain. He asks Death to respond. Death and the Ploughman will be at the Luckman Fine Arts Center in Los Angeles, THIS WEEK, April 24-27. Click here for info. Summer workshops and Who Do You Think You Are at Saratoga ArtsFest In addition to our annual summer intensive at Skidmore College, SITI will lead various workshops in Suzuki, Viewpoints and Composition this summer in Edmonton, Chicago, Niagra-on-the-Lake, Los Angeles and New York City. SITI Company will present its newest work Who Do You Think You Are for one night only at Saratoga ArtsFest in Saratoga Springs, New York on June 14, 2008. Who Do You Think You Are premiered in March at ASU Gammage on the campus of Arizona State University, and looks to the field of neurology and brain science to further explore the human experience. Reading of Virginia Woolf's Freshwater in NYC Freshwater is the only play that Virginia Woolf ever wrote and it has never had a professional production. SITI will premiere this work, directed by Anne Bogart and featuring 6 SITI Company actors and the SITI design team, at The Women's Project in early 2009. SITI will present a reading of the play to the public on Thursday May 22 at 7pm at The Women's Project. More information about the production and the reading will be announced soon. |
